How does Leveling work?

Turn steady message and voice participation into levels, visible progress, and carefully managed role rewards.

How do members earn XP?

Choose message XP, a cooldown, minimum meaningful length, voice XP per minute, the number of people needed in voice, and a daily voice limit. Repeated messages, commands, muted or deafened time, AFK time, and excluded resources do not become easy XP.

How do XP multipliers combine?

A role or channel can change the XP rate from 0.5x to 3x. When several match, Yuna uses only the highest value. Multipliers never multiply each other.

How do level roles stay safe?

Add a manageable Discord role to a chosen level. Yuna records roles it assigns, so it can update or remove its own level rewards without taking ownership of a role the member already had.

What can members use?

Members can open an image rank card, customize its theme and accent, or view the image leaderboard with `/level`. Owners can add or remove XP, set an exact current level without rewriting lifetime XP, or reset one member.

Where should level-ups appear?

Keep announcements off, use the channel where XP was earned, choose one server channel, or send a DM. The message supports the member mention and new level placeholders.

Why is Leveling connected to Server Activity?

Both systems use the same message and voice event stream, so Yuna never tracks the same action twice. Server Activity and Leveling can still be enabled independently because they store different results and follow different eligibility rules. Changing the level curve affects future progress only; it never recalculates or downlevels existing members.
