How does ModMail work?
Let members reach the right staff privately without turning internal discussion into a public conversation.
How do I set up ModMail?
Create a staff-only forum, choose it as the inbox, select the roles that can handle conversations, then enable ModMail. Each conversation becomes one forum post, so the inbox stays searchable without creating server channels for every member.
How do members contact us?
A new direct message opens a short Yuna Help card. The member chooses Contact a server, then selects the server and topic when needed. Yuna keeps the message they already wrote, and later replies continue in the same DM.
How do staff replies work?
Use Reply inside the forum post to send a message to the member. Ordinary messages in the post stay staff-only, so discussion cannot leak by accident. Optional claiming shows who is leading the conversation without blocking another authorized staff member from helping.
How does Yuna keep the inbox manageable?
Message cooldowns slow repeated DM spam. Staff can block abusive accounts, inactive conversations can close automatically, and closed transcripts are removed after the configured retention period. Owners can review the paginated /modmail blocked list, use /modmail unblock, or manage blocked members in the dashboard.
How do members find ModMail?
Open Member access to preview and customize the Contact Staff panel, then publish it in a visible help, rules, or information channel. Its button opens the correct server directly in Yuna DMs. You can edit the wording, color, image, and button, or copy a short DM instruction for welcome messages.
