How do members choose their own roles?
Publish safe role boards that let members manage approved roles without waiting for staff.
How do I create a role board?
Open Self Roles from the dashboard or with `/selfrole setup`. Give the board a private dashboard name, choose its channel, and build the message members will see. It stays a draft until at least one role group is ready.
How do I make the message yours?
A generated board can use your title, message, accent color, image or short video, and custom control text. You can also hide public group descriptions or role names when the message should stay compact.
How do I use your own message?
Choose Use my Yuna message and paste its Discord message link. Yuna keeps that message intact and adds only the Self Roles control.
How do I choose how each group works?
Each group holds up to 25 approved roles. Every role option can have its own label, description, emoji, and visibility.
How do I keep self roles safe?
Yuna rejects managed roles, roles above its highest role, and roles carrying staff or server-management permissions. Discord roles remain the source of truth, so the member picker always reflects what the member currently has.
What should I know about publish and maintain the board?
Publish only after the role groups are ready, then enable Self Roles for the server. Editing a live group updates the same Discord message. If the message or channel is deleted, the dashboard marks the board for repair instead of silently creating duplicates.
