How do I give staff the right access?
Keep staff roles, moderation authority, dashboard work, promotions, and team performance in one understandable structure.
Which roles should count as staff?
Bind only the roles that represent staff in your server. The dashboard and Discord commands use the same list, so there is one source for promotions, staff-aware statistics, and optional dashboard access.
How do I choose what each role can do?
Open Staff Access in the dashboard, or use `/bindstaff permissions` as a shortcut. Choose the staff roles, set their access, then save the complete setup together. The same permissions cover website actions, prefix commands, slash commands, buttons, and modals.
What should I know about turn on Discord enforcement when ready?
The Discord moderation toggle is off by default, so an existing server does not lose access while roles are being prepared. Review each role first, then turn it on. The Discord server owner connects once so assigned slash commands remain visible even when staff do not hold the matching native permission.
Can support roles receive access automatically?
A role already used by a ticket type or the Appeal reviewer list appears automatically in Staff Access. It does not need to be added twice. Automatic Ticket access sees only the ticket types that use that role; an explicit Ticket permission from Staff Access covers the full ticket workspace.
How do I move staff without losing the baseline?
Promotion and demotion follow the configured staff ladder while preserving the base role. Yuna still checks Discord role hierarchy before making any change.
How should I read staff activity?
My Work keeps each moderator's completed work, ticket response measures, and support rating close to their active queues. Owners can compare the team using a chosen measure without hiding performance behind a made-up score.
